A PROPOSAL goes before the Garden Grove City Council on Tuesday to allow eight pool tables at a Main Street eatery (Shutterstock).

A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council to consider a proposal for a Main Street restaurant to operate a billiard parlor with eight pool tables.

The Wharf, located at 12941 Main St, would be the location for the proposed operation. The action requested of the council is to revoke an existing conditional use permit and approve the introduction and first reading of a ordinance amending the municipal code regarding “pool rooms, billiard parlors and pool halls.”
