A suspect in several Huntington Beach child molestation cases has been arrested in Florida and is awaiting extradition to Orange County.
GEORGE PHILIP FOORD (HBPD)
According to the HBPD, George Philip Foord, 54, commonly known as “Phil,” has been arrested in Ridge Manor, Florida by the Hernando County Sheriff’s office.
In October 2024, a victim contacted the HBPD to report child molestation crimes dating back to the 1990s. The investigation discovered three additional victims, aged 12 to 16 years at the time. The incidents took place throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
Foord was arrested on seven counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, with bail set at $1 million.
