SHARKS has been spotted off the Hunting Beach coast (Wikipedia).
Watch out for the sharks.
According to Huntington Beach lifeguards, sharks have been spotted in the waters near the shore.
Two young sharks were caught by anglers, but the fish freed themselves by biting through the lines and swimming into deeper water.
In an Instagram post HB lifeguards warned that “these sightings remind us that the sea is their home and we share these waters with marine life of all kinds.”
Assistance has been requested from the state Department of Fish and Wildlife and with the HB-1 police helicopter to keep a watchful eye on the area for sharks.
