In what’s regarded as a surprising about-face, President Donald Trump is now urging Republicans in the House of Representatives to vote to release files in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
That announcement came in the wake of criticism from within his party over his opposition to release the files on the late Epstein, a convicted sex trafficker of underage females.
He added, “I DON’T CARE. All I do care about is that Republicans get back ON POINT.”
Border Patrol raids Charlotte, N.C;
Eighty-one persons were arrested Saturday in the North Carolina city of Charlotte by Border Patrol agents.
The New York Times is reporting that the raids were led by Gregory Bovino, who was in charge of similar operations in Chicago and Los Angeles which have drawn some complaints for allegedly aggressive tactics.
The Border Patrol did not have information about how many of those arrested had criminal records. However, the policy of the administration is to consider anyone present in the U.S. illegally to be a criminal.
The arrests were held at a variety of locations, including a church cleanup day, a Home Depot and of a landscaper putting up holiday decorations.
