ONE PERSON was killed and another wounded in a shooting incident in Garden Grove on Tuesday night (Shutterstock).
A shooting in Garden Grove on Tuesday night took the life of one person and wounded another.
According to the GGPD, the incident took place in the 12500 block of Sandalwood Lane. That’s southeast of Lampson Avenue and Harbor Boulevard. Officers were dispatched there in response to a report of a shooting at about 7:56 p.m.
Arriving officers found one male victim with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
During the investigation, officers found a second juvenile victim who had also been hit by gunfire. He is in stable condition.
