ROSE CENTER THEATER in Westminster.

The search is on for an operator for the Westminster Rose Theater and its banquet facility, billed as a “multicultural center.”

The deadline for submitting a proposal for those seeking to operate the facility in the Civic Center, which includes a 419-seat theater, is Thursday, May 7.

A contract is scheduled to be submitted to the city council for approval on June 24, 2026.

Rose Center opened in 2006 and has been operated since by the Friends of the Rose Center organization.

Several members of the city council want the theater –originally intended to bring fine arts performances to the City of Westminster – to be changed into a multicultural center.

The management agreement with Friend concludes at the end of June 2026.
