VIETNAMESE flag was honored at “Black April” observance in 2024 in Westminster (Orange County Tribune photos).
The annual Black April Remembrance Ceremony marking the fall of Saigon at the conclusion of the Vietnam war in 1975 will be held on Thursday, April 30 at 10 a.m. in the Sid Goldstein Freedom Park in the Westminster Civic Center.
The event will include remarks from the mayor, city council and other elected officials as well as a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Vietnam War Memorial honoring Vietnamese and American troops who have their lives in the conflict.
The park and ceremony are at 14180 All American Way, south of Westminster Boulevard.
