Two of three local high school softball teams playing in the CIF-SS second round won on Monday and will advance to the quarterfinals.
In Division 2, Huntington Beach (20-10) defeated Camarillo 11-8 and will play San Clemente on Wednesday.
In Division 3, Edison (18-11) bested El Toro 10-3 and will take on Great Oak on Wednesday.
In Division 8, Bolsa Grande lost 17-4 to San Bernardino. The Matadors finish the season with a 19-6 record.
