Twenty-three people were detained on Tuesday when Westminster police served a search warrant on a crowded house that sparked complaints from neighbors.

Seven persons were arrested on various charges.

According to Commander Andy Stowers of the WPD, the “raid” was at the 14300 block of Riverton Circle, northeast of Newland Street and Hazard Avenue.

The home has been generating “numerous calls for service,” with people entering and leaving the residence “at all hours” along with reports of drug deals, stolen property, vandalism and fights.

The warrant was served on Tuesday morning on a house of 1300-square feet occupied by as many as 23 people.

Of the seven people arrested, one was booked for a felony assault that had recently occurred in Westminster, while others were booked for drug sales and outstanding warrants.

About 318 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 52 grams of suspected fentanyl, 10 grams of suspected heroin and 35 grams of suspected fentanyl pills were found.
