A GARDEN GROVE police officer was arrested for alleged misconduct with a female juvenile (Shutterstock).
A Garden Grove police officer has been arrested and relieved of x his duties because of “possible inappropriate interaction (s)” with a juvenile female police Explorer.
According to Sgt. Nick Jensen of the GGPD, the accused is Roberto Machuca. He was arrested on Saturday, June 27 and booked into Orange County Jail in Santa Ana.
“The safety and security of our youth volunteers remains a top priority,” said Jensen.
The case will be handled by the Orange County District Attorney’s office once the GGPD completes its investigation.
