The Los Angeles Dodgers are now just one win away from advancing to the National League Championship Series after Tuesday’s 3-1 win over the Braves in Atlanta.
They now lead the best of three NL Division Series by two games to one.
Most of what the Dodgers needed in terms of pitching came from starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who struck out 10 Braves and yielded only four hits and one run in seven innings.
Game Four will be on Wednesday at Truist Park in Atlanta. If a fifth game is needed, it would back in Los Angeles on Friday.
Freeman, who had two singles for the Dodgers, also contributed with nifty grab of a low throw at first with two out and a runner on in the bottom of the ninth.
Whoever wins this NLDS will face the winner of the Milwaukee-San Diego series.
