A request for a one-year time extension for what would be the tallest apartment project in the city goes before the Garden Grove Planning Commission when it meets on Thursday, Oct. 15.
The developer, Investel Garden Resorts, wants one more year to build a project that calls for the consolidation of four parcels into one for a six-story, 53-unit complex at 12233-12239 Choisser Road, east of Harbor Boulevard.
Also at that meeting is a proposed site plan to build three single family homes on a 36,155-square foot parcel facing 11861 Loara St. to be served by a private road.
That is a unique district notable for several mansion-sized homes. It’s located north of Chapman Avenue and is adjacent to Mark Twain school.
The planners will meet in the council chambers at 11300 Stanford Ave. at 7 p.m.
