GG man killed in HB motorcycle crash

A GARDEN GROVE man died Sunday morning in Huntington Beach when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

A 28-year-old Garden Grove man died after a solo motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach Sunday morning. The man was identified by the Orange County Coroner’s Office as Clifford Cody.

According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:53 a.m. in the area of Warner Avenue and Brightwater Drive. Arriving police officers and firefighter/paramedics found the unconscious man and he was treated at the scene, but succumbed to multiple injuries.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcyclist was riding eastbound on Warner Avenue when he lost control and fell to the ground before striking a cement wall. No other vehicles are thought to be involved.
