A GARDEN GROVE man died Sunday morning in Huntington Beach when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

A 28-year-old Garden Grove man died after a solo motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach Sunday morning. The man was identified by the Orange County Coroner’s Office as Clifford Cody.

HBPD-shoulder-patch-61r1w3vwjfrooiczqaavs0v9sfkbt6pers44yteieg2According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:53 a.m. in the area of Warner Avenue and Brightwater Drive. Arriving police officers and firefighter/paramedics found the unconscious man and he was treated at the scene, but succumbed to multiple injuries.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcyclist was riding eastbound on Warner Avenue when he lost control and fell to the ground before striking a cement wall. No other vehicles are thought to be involved.
