“PADDINGTON 2” opens on Friday in local cinemas.
The new year is slowly getting underway with new entertainment choices for the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster area. Here’s what the weekend … and beyond … looks like.
The three big releases opening locally include two dramas and an animated comedy.
- “The Commuter.” Liam Neeson is back as the over-50 action hero of choice as he gets caught up in mystery on board a speeding train. Rated PG-13.
- “ Proud Mary.” A professional assassin comes to the aid of a young boy. Starring Taraji Henson. Rated R.
- “Paddington 2.” A stolen book sends everyone’s favorite little bear into action. Rated PG.
ON STAGE
