A public hearing on the proposed Sea Dance housing tract will highlight Monday’s meeting of the Huntington Beach City Council.
At issue are several measures, including an ordinance, which would clear the way for a 51-home development at the former Franklin School site at 14422 Hammon Dr., in an area west of Springdale Street and southeast of Rancho Road.
The development on the 8.75-acre site would include a 1.3-acre public park.
Also on the agenda are:
- introduction of an ordinance making shared mobility devices – typically scooters and bicycles – or businesses unlawful;
- reports from the city attorney regarding the city’s lawsuit against SB 54 and the filing of new suits against illegal businesses, including illegal residential rehabilitation facilities.
