Ten baseball teams from local high schools begin CIF-SS playoffs this week, as well as seven softball teams.
Here are the baseball pairings as posted on Monday for teams in the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach, Stanton and Westminster communities.
Division 1 (Thursday)

Division 2 (wild card/Wednesday)
- Pacifica at Redlands (winner plays at Arcadia on Friday)

- Winner of Northwood vs. San Juan Hills/Wild Card at Marina
Division 4 (Friday)
- Rancho Alamitos at Irvine
- El Rancho at Loara
Division 5 (Thursday)
- Garden Grove at Flintridge Prep
- La Quinta at St. Margaret
Division 6 (Friday)
- Academy for Academic Excellence at Orange.
