Ten baseball teams from local high schools begin CIF-SS playoffs this week, as well as seven softball teams.

Here are the baseball pairings as posted on Monday for teams in the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach, Stanton and Westminster communities.

Division 1 (Thursday)

Division 2 (wild card/Wednesday)

• Pacifica at Redlands (winner plays at Arcadia on Friday)

Division 4 (Friday)

• El Rancho at Loara

Division 5 (Thursday)

• La Quinta at St. Margaret

• Academy for Academic Excellence at Orange.
