MARINA VIKINGS won the 2019 Division 11 CIF-SS crown, The Vikes will start a spring football campaign on Friday, March 12 against Huntington Beach High (Orange County Tribune photo by Jim Tortolano).
The Marina High School football team will open its 2023 campaign on Friday, Aug. 18, hosting Sunny Hills in a non-league game at Bill Boswell Field.
The Vikings are coming off a 1-9 season in which they finished last in the Pac 4 league.
Marina is hoping to reclaim the kind of glory won when the Vikings won the 2019 CIF-SS Division 11 championship and winning the Big 4 League title.
