The Marina High School football team will open its 2023 campaign on Friday, Aug. 18, hosting Sunny Hills in a non-league game at Bill Boswell Field.

The Vikings are coming off a 1-9 season in which they finished last in the Pac 4 league.

Marina is hoping to reclaim the kind of glory won when the Vikings won the 2019 CIF-SS Division 11 championship and winning the Big 4 League title.
