THE RANCHO ALAMITOS flag football team won the Grove League title but got knocked out in first round CIF-SS action (GGUSD photo).

Four West Orange County area girls’ flag football teams will be in action in the CIF-SS playoffs on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Division 1 play starts on Saturday with Huntington Beach hosting Western Christian.
Division 2 second round action Tuesday will see Edison visit Downey. 

Division 5 action will also be in second round play, with Northview visiting Santiago and Antelope Valley at Garden Grove.

Tuesday’s results in Division 2 had Edison edge Thousand Oaks 13-12. Division 3 saw Westminster lose 19-13 to San Dimas. In Division 5, Kaiser defeated Rancho Alamitos 27-12, Santiago overpowered Hawthorne  30-0, Covina blanked Orange 22-0 and Garden Grove won 13-6 over Buena Park.
