SANTA ANA police have identified the two persons killed in a traffic accident Monday(Shutterstock).

Two persons fatally injured in a multiple car accident in Santa Ana on Monday have been identified.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the two drivers in the six-car crash at Main Street and Warner Avenue killed were Jorge Andres Delgado, 29, and Leticia Placencia Alvarado, 32, both of Santa Ana.

Five passengers with ages ranging from 1 to 39 years old were taken to a local hospital with injuries which were not life-threatening.

The SAPD investigation indicates that Delgado was traveling at a high rate of speed in the “opposing lanes” and struck three vehicles at 6:40 p.m.
