The Los Angeles Dodgers don’t exactly have the Milwaukee Brewers’ backs to the wall after their 5-1 win Tuesday night in the second game of their National League Championship Series, but the Brew Crew is running out of real estate.
With Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitching a rare complete game and allowing just three hits and one run, Dodgers now lead the series two games to none, and head back to Los Angeles for as many as three games.
After Milwaukee grabbed a first inning 1-0 lead on a solo leadoff home run by Jackson Chouri, the Dodgers took the lead back at 2-1 in the second inning on a home run by Teoscar Hernandez and an RBI double by Andy Pages.
The Blue Crew drew away with one run in each of the sixth to eighth innings, including a solo home run by Max Muncy.
Games Three and Four are at Chavez Ravine on Thursday and Friday.
