BUENA PARK police vehicle (BPPD).

Investigators are still searching for a suspect in the beating in Buena Park of a man who later died from his injuries.

According to the BPPD, the incident took place on Dec. 29. At 9:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of La Palma Avenue and Western Avenue in reference to a man who was being assaulted by an unknown person.

Arriving officers found the victim and he was taken to a local hospital.
