A 27-year-old Fullerton man has been arrested for the murder of another man on Sunday in Fullerton.
According to the FPD, the incident began on Saturday at about 8:52 p.m. when police received a 9-1-1 call reporting that a man had been stabbed and “possibly” run over by a motor vehicle in the area of South Euclid Street and West Baker Avenue.
Responding officers found a male victim in the roadway suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. Medical aid was rendered by the Fullerton Fire Department, but the man was pronounced dead on the scene.
A description of the suspect was broadcast to neighboring law enforcement agencies. The Buena Park Police Department responded to a hit-and-run accident and detained a suspect.
After an investigation it was determined that the man detained by BPPD was the suspect being sought in the incident in Fullerton.
Francisco Soriano was arrested and booked into the FPD jail for murder. The identity of the victim has not been released.
