A Garden Grove woman in her 60s was a fatally injured in a bicycling accident on Friday in Garden Grove.

According to the Garden Grove Police Department, she was riding in the 13200 block of Brookhurst Street (between Garden Grove Boulevard and Trask Avenue) when she collided with a silver 2011 Cadillac sedan at around 6 a.m.

Police officers responding to a report of the incident found the women unresponsive. Orange County Fire Authority personnel assessed her injuries and pronounced her dead at the scene.

There’s no indication that alcohol or drugs contributed to the collision.
