‘FLOWER STREET’ will be on Main Street in Garden Grove this weekend (VSASOCAL photo).

A traditional Vietnamese celebration comes to downtown Garden Grove this weekend as annual “Flower Street” event takes place on the city’s historic Main Street.

It will feature flower designs, the Miss Asian Heritage Pageant, lion dances, a raffle, a singing contest, music and magic shows and “kid country” folks games.

This year’s location will be slightly different from last year, with the venue moved a short distance further north on Main Street, between Acacia Parkway and Stanford Avenue.

Hours will be 3-10 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event is sponsored by the Vietnamese Sports Association of Southern California.
