A perfect score for an imperfect situation.

The Garden Grove Police Department conducted a commercial vehicle enforcement checkpoint on Tuesday in an effort to keep roads safe and to make sure that such vehicles are complying with regulations.

Ninety vehicles were inspected and 90 violations were identified . A total of 55 citations were issued and nine vehicles were taken out of service.

Eight vehicles were towed.
