Frankie Wade Sanchez scored 38 points to lead Huntington Beach to a 68-58 win over Norco Wednesday night in a girls’ basketball game in the Nike Tournament of Champions. The Oilers are now 6-4 overall on the season.

Overall, local hoops teams from the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster area won six of eight contests Wednesday. Here are the scores.

Top scorers among the boys were Sergio Salgado of Los Amigos with 27 points and Randall Walker of Edison with 26. Tops among the girls were Wade Sanchez with 38, and Alondra Serrano of Santiago with 22 points.
