An estimated $300,000 in damage was done to a home in Garden Grove and four people displaced on Wednesday morning. According to Capt. Thanh Nguyen of the Garden Grove Fire Department, the blaze was reported just before 6 a.m. at a house in the 12700 block of Dale Street.
It took about 30 minutes to knock out the fire, and there were no reports of injuries.
A family of four, including two adults and two children, were rendered homeless by the fire. The American Red Cross provided assistance to the displaced people.
Structural loss to the building was estimated at $250,000 and the loss to comments was put at $50,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
