FIFTEEN local teams start play this week in high school basketball playoffs.

Seven local teams are in the CIF-SS boys’ basketball playoffs starting on Wednesday. Here are the pairings as posted on Sunday afternoon for teams in the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster area.

• Division 1-AA: Inglewood at Edison.
• Division 1-A: Huntington Beach at Millikan (Long Beach)
• Division 3-AA: Glendora at Ocean View
• Division 4-AA: Garden Grove at Katella, Costa Mesa at Santiago, South Hills at Santiago. Bolsa Grande has a bye.

On the girls’ side, eight area teams are set for the post-season tournament. First round contests are set to start on Thursday with one game on Saturday.

• Open Division: Orangewood at Ventura (Saturday)
• Division 1-A: Edison at Mira Loma; Huntington Beach has a bye.
• Division 2-A: Warren at Garden Grove, South Pasadena at Ocean View
• Division 3-A: Pacifica (Garden Grove) at Pacifica (Oxnard)
• Division 4-A: Los Amigos at Costa Mesa
• Division 4-AA: La Quinta has a bye.
