Industrial fire does $150,000 damage

Garden Grove firefighters, assisted by the Huntington Beach Fire Department and the Orange County Fire Authority knocked out a fire Thursday morning in an industrial building in the 7300 block of Lampson Avenue in Garden Grove.

According to Capt. Thanh Nguyen of the Garden Grove Fire Department, the blaze was reported at 10:53 a.m. The cause of the fire is believed to be accumulated combustable material in a blower over an oven which ignited. The fan blew the flames into the building’s ducting. The value of the loss is set at $150,000.

There were no injuries and the cause of the first is under investigation.
