Two women were in critical condition after a traffic collision Thursday afternoon in Garden Grove. According to Capt. Thanh Nguyen of the Garden Grove Fire Department, the crash took place just before 6 p.m. in the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Central Avenue.

Three people were hurt, with one vehicle rolled over. Firefighters extricated two women from their damaged auto, and a man suffered moderate injuries. All three were treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to trauma centers for further care.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Garden Grove Police Department.
