Argos closing in on a 6th league title

GARDEN GROVE, Huntington Beach, Westminster and La Quinta posted football wins Friday night.

Garden Grove High’s football team moved into sole possession of first place in the Garden Grove League football race Friday with its 47-0 win over Santiago. Combined with La Quinta’s 40-14 victory over Rancho Alamitos, the Argonauts (4-3 overall) are the only team in the GGL with a 3-0 record.
