It’s been a warm winter, and things are warming up in the entertainment world. More movies opening, more events happening and more ways to have fun in the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster this weekend. Take a look.
- “15:17 To Paris”: Action drama based on the true story of three Americans who foiled a terrorist attack in 2015 in France. The actual participants are cast in this film directed by Clint Eastwood. Rated PG-13.
- “Peter Rabbit”: An animated action-comedy based on the beloved children’s stories about an energetic hare. Rated PG.
- “Fifty Shades Freed”: The final film in the trilogy started by the kinky “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Rated R for sex, language and violence.
Reenactment of American Revolution scenes and settings Saturday and Sunday at the Central Park in Huntington Beach (Goldenwest Street and Talbert Avenue). Battle re-enactments at 1 and 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Huntington Beach Historical Society.
