GARDEN GROVE Planning Commission will meet on April 5 to consider a new Kia dealership on Harbor Boulevard.
A proposal to build a new Kia car dealership on Harbor Boulevard tops the April 5 meeting of the Garden Grove Planning Commission.
The commission will conduct a public hearing on requests for a site plan and conditional use permit to build the facility at 13731 Harbor Blvd, at the southwest corner of the intersection with Woodbury Road.
The site plan calls for demolishing an existing 2,747 square foot building, retaining an existing main building of 21,708 square feet and adding a new 5,845-square foot addition.
Currently located at 10081 Garden Grove Blvd., the Garden Grove Kia dealership is being displaced by construction of Brookhurst Place, a large development in the Brookhurst Triangle area.
The commission meets at 7 p.m. in the council chamber in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
