THREE suspects are being sought in the beating of a man in Garden Grove Thursday night.

Police are searching for three suspects in the beating of a man in Garden Grove Thursday night.

According to Sgt, Nick Jensen, the incident took place around 10:50 p.m. in the area of Brookhurst Street and Central Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene in reference to reports of a fight. On further investigation, they determined that the suspects may have been tampering with the victim’s vehicle.

He confronted the three, who fled. However, the suspects eventually turned and attacked the victim, police say, and struck him in the upper torso with a metal pole.

The suspects fled the scene on foot and the victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries which were not considered life threatening. There were several witnesses to the incident and one shot a cell phone video, which was given to police.

The suspects were described as three men, possibly Hispanic, 18 to 25 years old, all wearing plaid jackets with hoods.
