A BICYCLIST is in critical condition after a collision with a garbage truck Thursday afternoon in Garden Grove.

A bicyclist is in critical condition after colliding with a garbage truck Thursday afternoon in Garden Grove.

According to Master Office Paul Ashby of the GGPD, the incident took place around 2:19 p.m. at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Imperial Avenue.

The cyclist was unresponsive and taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he was listed in critical condition. There were no other injuries.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
