Garden Grove police have released images of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted murder of an 89-year-old man at a fast foot restaurant on Saturday morning.
According to Sgt. Mario Martinez of the GGPD, the attempted homicide was reported at 10:52 a.m. at the eatery in the 13900 block of Harbor Boulevard.
The victim had been stabbed multiple times in his upper body and was taken to a local hospital with wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
Surveillance cameras showed a male suspect leaving the restroom after the victim entered, and then showed the suspect leaving and running through the parking lot.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 20 to 30 years of age, 6-feet tall and with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a black long-sleeved shirt and black pants.
