THE LOS ANGELES ANGELS open their 2019 season today (Thursday).

Trevor Cahill will make the start for the Los Angeles Angels as they open the 2019 season in Oakland against Mike Fiers and the Athletics.

The Halos will play four games in the Bay Area –Thursday to Sunday – then play two in Seattle. They’ll have their home opener next Thursday, starting a four-game series with the Texas Rangers.

Oakland has already launched its season, with two losses. The Angels finished the exhibition series with a 15-16 mark. Oakland was 14-8 in the pre-season, best in baseball.
