An application for a conditional use permit allowing a restaurant to operate with karaoke goes before the Garden Grove Planning Commission when it meets on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m.
Tuan Tran and Chuong Pham (acting as Quan Gio, Inc.) are requesting the permit for the Quan Gio Bar & Grill, located at 14241 Euclid St., Units C111-112 to allow for live entertainment in the form of karaoke and an amplified instrumentalist with a solo performer.
Also on the agenda is a request for a conditional use permit to construct and install a 60-foot high wireless telecommunications facility disguised as palm tree (a “mono-palm”).
Verizon Wireless is seeking to establish it at 13141 Harbor, between Garden Grove Boulevard and Banner Drive.
The commission meets in the council chambers in the Community Meeting Center at 11300 Stanford Ave.
