MARINA HIGH girls’ water polo team won the CIF-SS Division 6 title Saturday morning (Facebook).

Marina High School’s girls’ water polo team won the CIF-SS Division 6 championship after defeating Flintridge Prep 6-4 at Wollett Aquatic Center in Irvine on Saturday morning.

The Vikings were led by seven saves by goalkeeper Emma Marsh and scores by Lily Ensley.

MHS finished the season with a 21-11 record. Marina won its last CIF-SS girl’s water polo title in 1998.
