HIGH SCHOOL baseball and softball schedules could be disrupted because of rain predicted this week (Shutterstock).

Something from heaven could put a damper on high school sports in the communities of Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Stanton and Westminster and it’s not pennies.

Rain is forecast all week long, with precipitation heavy sometimes. That will likely lead to a bunch of rain delays, if not rainouts, with coaches and athletic directors scrambling for makeup dates.

And, as always, matchups, times, dates and even opponents are subject to change without notice.

With that possible rain pause in mind, here’s a summary of the records of local teams in baseball and softball, overall and league (or when they start league play). Records are through Monday night.

• Bolsa Grande: 4-4 overall and 0-1 in Garden Grove League.
