Murder attempt by homeless man?

A HOMELESS MAN was arrested for attempted murder in Westminster after a violent dispute with another homeless man (Shutterstock).

An attack in Westminster on a homeless man – allegedly by another unsheltered person – sent one man to the hospital and another to jail.

According to police, the incident took place Thursday around 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a store in the 8500 block of Westminster Boulevard in Westminster.

Adrian Robert Amaro was arrested on one felony charge each of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Sentencing enhancements of inflicting great bodily injury may also be applied.

During a dispute, he allegedly stuck the victim over the head with some kind of metal object. The injured man was taken to UCI Medical Center for treatment.
