COVID-19 cases still rising

CORONAVIRUS cases and deaths are on the rise across the U. S and in Orange County (Shutterstock).

The coronarvirus numbers for Orange County continue to move in the wrong direction. According to the county health care agency, the count of new cases on Sunday went to 512, up from 316 the day before and the third consecutive day of increases.

Deaths declined from four to three, but hospitalized cases of COVID-19 rose to 201 from 159, and those in intensive care units increased from 55 to 72.

Here is a list of the OC cities with the most cases. Deaths are in parentheses.

  • Santa Ana: 11,952 (320)
  • Anaheim: 10,659 (327)
  • Garden Grove: 3,443 (111)
  • Fullerton: 3,002 (103)
  • Orange: 2894 (72)
  • Huntington Beach: 2720 (86).

Westminster has 1,234 cases and 31 cases and Stanton has 742 cases and 17 deaths.
