FIREFIGHTERS battle blaze in 6200 Kiowa Road in Westminster (OCFA image).

A family of seven people was displaced from their home in Westminster by a fire early Wednesday morning.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides firefighting and paramedic service to Westminster – the blaze was reported at 1:49 a.m. at the house in the 6200 block of Kiowa Road. That’s in the Indian Village neighborhood east of Springdale and south of Garden Grove Boulevard.

The knockdown of the fire took about 25 minutes. There were no injuries and the Red Cross was called to provide housing for the four adults and three children there.

There were no working smoke alarms in the house.
