Cooling center is open now

As temperatures reach above 90 degrees throughout Orange County, the City of Garden Grove’s public cooling center, located in the Garden Grove Sports and Recreation Center, opens on Tuesday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center is located at 13641 Deodara Drive at the north end of Garden Grove Park.

Out of courtesy to others, face masks and social distancing will be required. To protect the health and safety of the public, please do not attend if you have been sick or have been in contact with someone who is feeling sick or exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms.For more information, please call the Community Services Department at (714) 741-5200 or visit ggcity.org/cooling-center.
