Stabbing suspect is identified

A 52-YEAR-OLD man faces murder charges in the fatal stabbing of a woman in a Garden Grove motel (Shutterstock).

A suspect in Wednesday’s fatal stabbing of a woman in a Garden Grove motel has been identified by police.

KENNEDY ANTHONY AUDAIN (GGPD)

He is Kennedy Anthony Audain, 52, no city of residence given. He was arrested for Penal Code violation 187(murder) and booked into Orange County Jail in Santa Ana.

According to GGPD, the victim and the suspect had a dating relationship. Details about the victim aren’t being released by police at this time.

The incident took place before dawn on Wednesday at a motel in the 12000 block of Trask Avenue (near Harbor Boulevard). Police responding to a report of a domestic disturbance found a woman in a room with multiple stab wounds, to which she succumbed.
