Arriving officers found two women who told of their being attacked. One woman said the man followed her in his vehicle then chased her on foot. She was able to escape.

The second woman told WPD officers that – a few minutes after the first attack – a man approached her and sought to get her into his vehicle. She tried to flee but he caught her and put her in the car. However she was able to flee from the vehicle and the car then left the scene.

Police are describing the suspect as a male Hispanic between 30 and 50 years old. He’s between 5-foot, 10-inches tall and six feet tall with a medium build and – possibly – a dark mustache. The vehicle may have been a white Chevrolet Suburban sport utility vehicle with some damage to the front end, a tow hitch and a California license plate number “similar” to 7PHW758.
