Two suspected “taggers” were arrested this week by Garden Grove police.

According to the GGPD, officers from the Community Impact Unit spotted two males sitting in a car in the area of Joan Drive and Faye Avenue, southwest of Chapman Avenue and Nutwood Street.

The officers recognized them as suspects from last year’s intensive graffiti vandalism in which both had been arrested – along with 10 other suspects – and placed on probation.

When the officers searched the vehicle, they found several bolt cutters, an extendable ladder, paint rollers, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and dozens of spray paint cans.

The two were arrested and booked into Orange County Jail for possession of vandalism tools, narcotics violations and felon warrants.
